[more]Cal Capdevila is a traditional 19th-century (built in 1866) rural house which stands in Plaa Catalunya square in Pira, a small village of around 400 inhabitants in the heart of Conca de Barber county on the Cistercian Route. The house, former residence of one of the wealthiest families in the village, combines a markedly noble aspect with the rustic details added as part of its careful restoration. Moreover thanks to the fact that it is totally detached, all the rooms enjoy daylighting. The house was restored for rural tourism according to rigorous standards in terms of both aesthetics and decoration and functional and practical considerations. The residence now contains 3 independent rural apartments , all fully equipped to enable visitors to enjoy a relaxing stay amid countryside of matchless beauty. The same group can hire 2 or all three of the apartments, as these can be communicated by the internal staircase.
