The butterflies are in an enclosed tropical garden where guides take you on a two hour tour that is included in the entrance fee. The guides explain the life cycle of the butterfly. Hundreds of butterflies are on display in the gardens, there is also a caterpillar room showing the different varieties of plants the caterpillars feed on. A gift shop sells souvenirs from Costa Rica Open everyday from 8:30am - 5pm, with tours starting 8:30pm and the last one 3pm. Entrance fee is $15 adult with concessions for children and students.
