[elsitlsit, 02/25/2010] My wife and I stayed here for a couple days after we dropped in on Salzburg without reservations, just decided to visit and hoped for passable accommodations somewhere. We literally just pulled up and walked in hoping to find a zimmer frei. We were in luck, and it turned out our luck wasn't just in finding a room. In almost 2 weeks of travel in 3 countries, this was probably our favorite. [Beverly, 01/16/2010] I have been returning to this hotel / pension for several years. This is a wonderful family owned pension. The owners and staff are wonderful and go out of their way to ensure your stay is pleasant. The pension is beautiful inside with wonderful views, especially if you a room with a balcony and it is kept immaculately clean. The breakfasts are generous and their restaurant serves excellent evening meals. This pension is a bit out of town, however the bus is just a stones thrown away and buses to the city centre are frequent and inexpensive.
