We recently stayed at the Tides Reach Guest House for 3 nights. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Lin and taken to our room which I can only describe as luxurious and cosy! The food was excellent. A cooked breakfast was served to order by Mary and Lin with all tastes catered for - including our American cousins. Cereals and fresh seasonal fruit, which was more than plentiful and a joy to behold as well as eat, was self-service. The dining room was very tastefully set out with various quaint objets d'art around the room and there was even a grandfather clock in the corner - talk about character! The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard and restocked with fresh towels every day. There is a living/sitting room available for use or you can sit outside in the small beautiful garden and enjoy afternoon tea. Maps and personalised information on local pubs and restaurants were provided by Mary and Lin. The location, which has fantastic views over Swansea Bay, is an ideal place to stay at reasonable rates for those looking for a relaxing break - which for us also included walks along side of the bay and around the cliff top to other sandy-beached bays. This is without doubt the best guest house we have ever stayed in which added to the enjoyment of our short stay and the 5-star rating is fully deserved. We will be looking to return for a longer stay in the not too distant future and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our thanks and praise go to Mary and Lin, the owners.
