Whale Watching Sydney
Whale Watching Sydney offers cruises leaving from Darling Harbour or Circular Quay which last between two and four hours. There are two types of vessels available for tours a larger vessel with Active Ride Control to smooth out the bumps at sea and a smaller but faster boat for more adventurous trips. It takes approximately 20-minute to reach the waters where you can watch the Humpback whales and dolphins. Visitors on board are offered complementary tea, coffee and biscuits. There is a snack bar and souvenir shop on board as well. Since it can be quite cold in open ocean, warm and water proof clothing is required. A pair of sunglasses to protect your eyes from the glare off the water is also advisable. Whale Watching trips are available from Mid May to early December each year. Prices and departure times can be found on the homepage. The tours can be booked privately for groups up to 49 people. There is a wheelchair friendly vessel available for disabled visitors.
