Hotel Palazzo Guardi

Divided between two historic buildings, the Palazzo Guardi is a boutique hotel located in the Dorsoduro district of Venice, close to the Gallerie dell'Accademia. It is named after the Venetian artist Francesco Guardi.

This hotel offers a selection of rooms and suites that feature period furniture, damask wallpaper and other adornments designed to recreate a classic Venetian look from bygone centuries. Modern creature-comforts are provided in the form of en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, minibar and satellite television.

Palazzo Guardi‘s main building features a 24-hour reception and lounge with views over the San Trovaso Canal and a computer which is free to use. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the hotel.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided and numerous restaurants are a short walking distance away. Taverna San Trovaso is highly recommended.

St. Mark’s Square is only a 15-minute walk and Academia boat stop on the Grand Canal is very close.
