Hook Head Lighthouse is the oldest operational lighthouse in the world marking the entrance to Waterford Harbour for over 800 years. Guided tours of the medieval lighthouse tower are offered by the visitor centre at Hook Lighthouse which culminate with the spectacular view from the balcony.
