The terraced gardens are groaning with orange trees and 700 newly planted palm trees. There are archaeological (Iberian and Roman shards, Moorish fortifications, Cistercian monastery walls) and a Moorish irrigation system that has produced water since the 12th century. The decor combines classic and modern features, just using natural materials, old tiles, antique furniture and no pictures, because the windows frame a picture in themselves. There is a swimming pool in one of the gardens from which guests can enjoy the magnificent views of the Castle.
