Positive Reviews

Easy Travelling Distance

The hotel is easy to find from the airport using transport links, with good connections to central Amsterdam. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and located in a good area with shops and restaurants including KFC. The all you can eat restaurant nearby is really good! Bus/tram tickets are available from the front desk.

Plenty of Cleanliness

The room was very nice and clean, the bathroom as well. Tea and coffee are supplied and free WI-FI the room service couldn't be faulted.

Friendly and Helpful

Hotel reception staff are excellent and really helpful. They can supply a map of the hotel and its surroundings with all public transportation to Amsterdam's famous attractions and squares The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Negative Reviews

Communication Problems

On two occasions guests were woken up by a drilling sound that went on for some time. A lift breakdown occurred, and the Wi-Fi cut off on the 10th floor. Others were disappointed, having booked a double room, to find they had twin beds rather than a double.

In Need of a Drink

Food is quite expensive but there is a good café on the corner. The sound-proofing needs some work, it is also a shame that the bar does not sell alcoholic drinks as there are no nice bars nearby There was no extra bedding, and the heater wasn't working properly. Keys stopped working before checking out: strange. Guests booked wake up calls twice but never got them.

A Cold Farewell

One particular couple found the staff to be short tempered, they were going out for a farewell dinner on their last night, and found there was no hot water in the hotel, they had to have a cold shower. Staff did not offer any sort of compensation or even an apology.
