Positive Reviews

Hotel is close to everything.

Its location in a pleasant neighborhood is a big plus for this hotel. Guests also love how there is plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, or how they can easily reach the Metro station on foot; making all of Washington D.C.’s highlights easily accessible.

Good facilities at a good price.

Stays are reasonably priced at the Econo Lodge Metro. What people like even more than the price is the large rooms that are always clean and comfortable.

Staff are always willing to help.

Online reviews contain a lot of praise for the people working at the Econo Lodge Metro. Former visitors appreciate the effort put in by each hotel employee and the way that everything is handled in a courteous manner.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast experience needs improvement.

Not everyone is able to start their day off right at this hotel due to poor breakfast service. The included meal has a very limited selection without any hot items. Meals are also served in a small room that isn’t very handicap friendly.

Guests may struggle without an elevator.

The lack of an elevator can be a problem for a number of guests. Reaching the rooms involves climbing a narrow staircase which is not ideal for older guests or those with a lot of luggage.

Building faces a busy road.

Because the Econo Lodge Metro sits on a busy road, traffic is an issue throughout the day. Guestrooms facing this road will have to deal with a lot of street noise as a result.
