Positive Reviews

Basic but clean

Guests have been pleased to find the rooms to be pleasantly clean and tidy, although very basic. If you are looking for simple accommodation to rest your head for a night or two, the Econo Lodge Biltmore will suit your needs perfectly.

Inexpensive, value for money

Visitors have commented that, with a stay at this lodge, there often seems to be more cash left to do the things that a vacation is usually full off. Guests are able to spend extra time enjoying the local restaurants and picking up gifts at the local shopping center.

Good location

If you enjoy being a stone's throw away from restaurants, downtown Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, then this location will be ideal. Visitors also commented that they felt completely safe going for an evening stroll after dark.

Negative Reviews

Housekeeping knocks early

If you happen to enjoy sleeping in in the mornings, then you had better hope that the "do not disturb" sign works for you. Some guests have reported being woken up before breakfast with housekeeping rearing to get going for the day.

Simple breakfast

There have been some comments that there are not many choices when it comes to the breakfast each morning at the Econo Lodge Biltmore. While there is no waffle station, or fresh fruit served, most visitors do enjoy the fact that the breakfast is basic as well as complimentary. Nonetheless, it's a good start to the day.

Don't kill the stink bugs

If you happen to visit during the stink bug season, then be sure not to squash them. They are called stink bugs because of the awful smell that is created if they get crushed. Some guests unfortunately only realize this after it is too late. You could perhaps bring some strong air-freshener with during your next visit.
