Awesome location

This hotel is within walking distance of all the biggest sights you'll want to take in during your stay. The Governor's Mansion, Austin Museum of Art, and the Bats at Congress Bridge are just a stroll away. There's also a lot of places to eat and many bars for fun nights out.

Super service from lovely staff

The staff at this hotel go out of their way to ensure that you are having the best time possible. They are friendly and helpful and have lots of tips for newcomers to the area. They'll even help you choose a restaurant for your evening meal.

Plenty of room to swing a cat

This hotel has buckets of space in the rooms and guests are impressed by the in-room amenities. They feel that the hotel is a real bargain considering how big and well-appointed the rooms are.

Negative Reviews

Area a little noisy

This hotel is close to the entertainment area so you will hear some late night noise and the random partygoer coming in late at night. This shouldn't be too much of an issue, but it may annoy those who are light sleepers.

Parking too expensive

Valet parking is the only option at this hotel, and it's quite expensive. So guests aren't too pleased that you must pay a valet to park especially when the car park is next to the hotel. They also feel that there are much cheaper options in the area.

Loud AC unit in the room

If you are used to noisy air conditioning units, then this won't be a problem for you but if you are a light sleeper, then the noise may keep you awake. Best to pack some earplugs or ask the front desk staff about it when checking in.
