Positive Reviews

Service with a smile

The small, attentive staff welcomes you with a smile and strives to make your stay a pleasant one. They are knowledgeable about the area and all it has to offer in the way of hiking, biking and kayaking. Whether you need restaurant recommendations or help with directions and weather forecasts, those at the front desk are at the ready and happy to assist you.

A good family hotel

Spacious rooms and plenty of amenities make this a good place to stay when travelling with your family. The pool, picnic area and pirate ship play area are great for the kids and the kitchenette makes mealtime easy and affordable.

A good value

This motel is moderately priced, especially when compared to other properties in the vicinity. A great location makes this an easy place from which to launch day trips and the rooms with kitchenettes add to the value you get here.

Negative Reviews

There’s no elevator

This motel does not have an elevator which could prove problematic for those with low mobility, small children or a lot of luggage in tow.

The guest rooms need updating

Many of the furnishings in the guest rooms are beginning to show their age. Bedding that has seen better days and stained carpeting, as well as bathroom fixtures in need of repair, could detract from your stay.

Things could get noisy

If you choose a room at the front of this motel be prepared for a noisy stay as the property is quite close to a main thoroughfare which is heavily trafficked both night and day.
