The Perfect Base

Guestst said that this hotel’s location on Wangfujing Avenue was central to local attractions, as well as a wide array of shops and convenience stores, many within an easy walking distance. With public transport easily accessible, guests said that this was an excellent base from which to explore Beijing. They added that the staff were happy to arrange tours for landmarks farther away, such as the Great Wall.

Negative Reviews

Dancing in the Square

Guests grumbled about the local dances that took place just outside the hotel, saying that they lasted until quite late at night, and disturbed their sleep. They complained that the noise levels became quite high, and carried freely into the hotel, as there seems to be little soundproofing.

A Long Walk

Guests warned that, depending on where a room was located, the elevators could be quite a long, inconvenient trek away.

Eating Out

Guests said that they tended to eat outside of the hotel, as the restaurants and bar were rather expensive, whereas there was an excellent choice of cheaper eateries at their doorstep.
