About Buyskop Lodge

Offering camping or chalet accommodations and expansive gardens with a pool, $hotename is a tranquil property a six-kilometre drive outside of central Bela Bela.

The thatched chalets feature vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, and detached bathroom that is wheelchair accessible. Chalets look out over a waterhole where wild animals come down to drink. The simple campsites are grassed, with some offering shade.

The on-site Baobab Spa offers a number of beauty and therapeutic treatments. Families will welcome the playground for the little ones, and motorists can rest easy knowing there is ample on-site parking.

Braai (BBQ) facilities are incorporated into each chalet or campsite. Those not keen on self catering can head to the Tacoma Spur Steak Ranch in town, a ten-minute drive away.

The surrounding area offers opportunities for game viewing, hiking, and adventure activities such as zip-lining. The Hetbad Nature Reserve is approximately nine kilometres from Buyskop Lodge and is a top-rated warm water resort with choices galore.

Positive Reviews

Clean and well maintained throughout

Guests are very impressed with both the housekeeping team and the groundskeepers here. The chalets and communal areas of the resort are found to be immaculately clean upon check-in, and maintained to a high standard throughout. The grounds are also said to look very good, and visitors feel the staff is dedicated to keeping this property in prime condition.

Peaceful and quiet setting

The general setting and atmosphere of this resort wins much praise in reviews. Guests say that it is peaceful and quiet, partly as a result of rules in place. However, travellers are especially impressed that they can see wild animals up close both on and around the border of the property.

Friendly and caring staff

It is nearly impossible to find any harsh words written about the staff here. Guests appreciate the team's warm welcome and say employees are always ready to efficiently handle any issues visitors may encounter during their stays.

Negative Reviews

No TVs

It seems this resort has made a conscious decision to forego TVs in the chalets and elsewhere in order to emphasise the natural environment. This decision doesn't always go down well with guests, who would like the ability to kick back and relax in front of the TV on occasion.

Poor internal roads

Motorists warn that the roads on the property itself are not in the best condition. According to reviews, travellers find them to be quite rocky and rough for their drives to and from the premises.
