Positive Reviews

Guests made to feel completely at home

Nearly all guest reviews started off praising the hotels host-couple, Helen and Stuart. They were described as the perfect innkeepers, with guests saying they offered a genuinely warm welcome and showed great interest in meeting individual guest’s needs. Too many to mention reported that they were made to feel very much at home during their all too brief stay.

Excellent breakfast served

It was nearly impossible to find a negative word written about the breakfast served here. Even those who didn’t actually have it reported being sorely tempted by the delicious smells coming from the kitchen each morning. Those who did enjoy the breakfast said it was tasty, filling and gave them a good start to their day.

Good central location

While the hotel is not right on the promenade, this fact did not seem to bother any guests. They reported that it was just a block or so away and that the hotel was located mid-way between the city’s two main piers. Guests found that this meant they could easily access a number of popular attractions. They didn’t feel they needed to use their car or pay for expensive cab rides when heading out to daytime activities.

Negative Reviews

Limited parking

Guests reported that the hotel itself did not have off-street parking. They reported that it was sometimes difficult to find suitable unrestricted parking near the hotel, especially during busy times.
