Positive Reviews

An attractive package.

The building, itself, is very attractive and everywhere, including the apartment, is very clean. Beds are comfortable and the contact, prior to arrival is good and efficient.

The location is excellent.

You can get to the subway very easily and just walk out of the door and you're part of the local community, with lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops on the doorstep. The area is described as being safe - and that's the way it feels. It's also very quiet, which is a bonus in an area that is buzzing with so much activity.

On-site laundry.

The laundry in the basement is a really welcome and useful addition.

Negative Reviews

Over-priced and under serviced.

These costs are similar to those at a hotel. There's no welcoming reception desk though; you just receive an impersonal message advising you of the access code. There's no laundry service for soiled towels etc. Presumably, you just put them through the washer in the basement + use them again … and again. There are 6 floors and no elevator.

Small accommodation.

The studio is actually smaller than an average size hotel room. It's nice and comfortable but, if you manage to prepare a meal in the kitchenette … there's nowhere to eat it! The kitchen is not well-equipped - not by any stretch of the imagination; very poor. There's not even a wine glass … and you'll need a drink when you discover that there's nowhere to store the empty luggage.

Cleaning issues.

These are mainly in the bathroom where ‘scum' indicates shortfalls on the cleaning front.
