Positive Reviews

Quiet neighborhood with easy access to sights.

The Copley House is located in a quiet Back Bay neighborhood, away from traffic and the hustle and bustle associated with downtown Boston. Past guests report that not only is this location quiet, but thanks to the nearby metro station, it's also convenient for visiting many of the city's attractions and amenities.

Friendly staff willing to assist.

Guests praise the hotel staff for providing an amenable and thoughtful service. Those guests staying at the Copley House property away from the main office report the staff happily driving them to the building.

Kitchenette facilities prove useful.

Those guests staying in apartments with kitchenettes are quick to praise the convenience of being able to prepare meals without having to leave the property. Guests also praise having a refrigerator in the apartment.

Negative Reviews

No stair-free access available.

Many of the Copley House's apartments do not offer step-free access, a consequence of being houses in old Brownstone buildings. Guests with mobility issues or those that pack heavy may wish to keep this in mind.

Some apartments in need of redecoration.

While many visitors enjoy their stay, others report that certain apartments would benefit from a spot of decorating, and that amenities could be updated. Most agree that this does not hamper their stay.

Parking can prove troublesome.

Due to the hotel's location in a residential neighborhood, past guests have reported that parking can be a problem. The hotel does issue a number of parking permits, but these are limited. With parking being for residents only during the evening and overnight, drivers will need to park at the nearby public parking lot.
