Positive Reviews

Ideal location

This guesthouse is perfectly located just a short walk from public transportation and many restaurants and shops. It's a great place for first-time visitors that want to explore the city without having to go too far from their accommodation.

A piece of living history

This house could tell a lot of stories, and if you like your history, then you'll love this antique-laden townhouse. There are so many things to talk about in the house and the owners and staff love discussing the building's past.

Super rooms

The rooms are bright and airy, and nothing like you'd expect when judging the front of the building. It's a nice surprise to find that the double rooms are incredibly spacious and that the beds are warm and comfy.

Negative Reviews

Old floors

This place has been renovated, but that doesn't stop the floorboards from creaking every time someone moves upstairs. This is a nightmare for those that want to get to bed early or that are light sleepers. Pack your earplugs.

Single beds are too small

Some guests have complained that the beds in the single rooms that double as sofas are far too small for a good night's rest. They say that you could easily fall off them during the night and that it makes for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

Too expensive

For a room with no TV and a shared bathroom, guests feel that the rates charged are just too much. Sure they do their best to keep the place clean but for the same money you could probably have a private bathroom and a TV in a chain hotel.
