About The Londoner

This British-themed B&B is located in historic downtown Bradenton. Victorian-style interiors, warm hospitality and afternoon tea servings make The Londoner a quintessentially English place to stay!

There are six individually decorated guest rooms (named after London boroughs), all of which come with antique furnishings and an en-suite or private bathroom. Flat-screen TVs and minifridges are also standard features. Some rooms boast four-poster or sleigh beds.

Guests can relax in the elegant residents' parlor and take in the pleasant garden surrounds from the patio area. Complementary Wi-Fi is accessible throughout and on-site parking is available free of charge.

A daily full English breakfast is included in the booking rate. A traditional English-style afternoon tea (not included) is served Monday through Saturday. Drinks and snacks are available from the 'help yourself' kitchen, 24/7.

The Londoner is four blocks from Bradenton's ever popular Riverwalk. Twin Dolphin Marina is a ten-minute walk away.

Positive Reviews

Afternoon tea is a delight, old chap.

Partaking in a cup of imported Earl Grey or Darjeeling tea with some home-made lemon curd and a selection of freshly baked cakes (made with imported Devonshire clotted cream and Homepride flour) is a very refined way to pass an hour so in the afternoon. Though not included in the booking rate, it's definitely worth paying a little extra for as the white cotton curtains, dark wood floors and Duncan Phyfe chairs make you feel like you've landed in an episode of 'Downton Abbey'.

Owners are extremely hospitable.

Many guests have said that they felt like they were staying over at friends house when they stayed here. This is quite understandable as the warm welcome and attentive care proffered by The Londoner's proprietors really is second to none. Committed to going above and beyond in every way, these are the kind of people who get up extra early to make you some muffins when you have to leave before breakfast, let you use their kitchen whenever you like, and leave chocolates and treats in your room to help you celebrate a birthday/anniversary. Outstanding service in every respect.

Breakfasts are the real deal.

If you're expecting a light or Continental breakfast as your complementary option then be prepared for a very pleasant surprise. The full English breakfast proffered here is every bit as substantial as you'd expect, with everything from ham, hash browns, baked goods and cooked-to-order eggs prepared, cooked and presented to perfection.
