Customer service was good

Guests often sang the praises of the pleasant, polite and helpful employees, who had plenty of local knowledge at their disposal.

Glamorous rooms had luxury touches

With their elegant furniture, deluxe fabrics and floor-to-ceiling windows, these rooms and apartments won praise from travellers. Not only did visitors say the interior design was attractive, but also they found the units to be well-equipped with flat-screen TVs, laundry facilities and high-quality kitchenettes. The hotel appealed to business and leisure guests, who admired the free deluxe toiletries and premium bedding. Moreover, many guests remarked that it was peaceful, spacious, comfortable and clean. The city views won praise too. Guests also commended the inviting outdoor swimming pool.

Central location was appealing

Being in central Brisbane’s trendy Fortitude Valley suburb was a big plus for reviewers as they were close to fashion boutiques and shopping areas plus nightlife and dining options. Furthermore, the hotel was within walking distance of the nearest railway station and river ferry terminal, making it easy to reach the city’s central business district plus nearby museums, parks, beauty spots, local attractions and the airport. That there were bus stops right outside was another bonus.

Negative Reviews

Free Wi-Fi restrictions

Guests in standard rooms were sometimes annoyed that there were daily data limits imposed on their usage of the free Wi-Fi network. Heavy users faced additional charges to remain connected.

Minor housekeeping concerns

There were occasional reports of bathrooms that could have been more extensively cleaned or patches of dust in some rooms. Several critics also claimed toiletries and other consumables weren’t replenished by housekeeping at times.

No free parking

Motorists were sometimes left disappointed that this hotel failed to offer free parking on-site. Instead, drivers had to cough up extra fees to use the car park.
