The Hotel St Christopher's Bruges Hostel, otherwise known as St. Christopher’s Hostel and Apartments, offers unique accommodation in central Old Bruges.

Dormitories, private rooms and self-catering apartments are the options available at The Hotel St Christopher's Bruges Hostel. The dorms hold up to ten people in bunk beds and some feature ultra-modern pod-beds which include privacy curtains, individual reading lights and sockets. There are several lockers in each room and communal bathrooms.

Free Wi-Fi, bicycle rentals and twenty-four hour entry and reception are some of the hostel’s facilities. There is also a meeting/function hall, a nightclub on-site as well as private parking nearby.

A free continental breakfast is served daily and there is a snack bar at guests’ disposal. The bar offers Belgium’s finest beer and Flemish cuisine can be enjoyed at the restaurant.

Most of Bruges’ historic centre and sites are within walking distance, for example the Market Square, Bruges Belfry, Groeninge Museum and Steenstraat for shopping.

Positive Reviews

Safe, easy walk to centre of Bruges

It is about a ten-minute walk into the heart of Bruges’ historic centre, and one which is dotted with many charming traditional houses, restaurants and shops.

Lively atmosphere and lots of character

The staff and the nature of St Christopher’s give it a friendly atmosphere, from meeting travellers from across the world to organized city walks and the bar with the ‘longest Happy Hour in Bruges’.

Comfortable, well laid-out rooms

Although the dormitories can hold up to ten people and the rooms five, the layout is such that it won’t feel too crowded The curtains on the dorm pod-beds also ensure some extra privacy.

Good and varied dining choices

The free breakfast and the Sacre Coeur at the Bauhaus both offer great quality food There is even more choice and enjoyment to be had at the many great restaurants in the surrounding areas.

Negative Reviews

Wi-Fi only seems to work at the bar

Guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi as well as laptop rentals from reception, however the connection is only usable at the bar and not the rooms/dorms.

Parking is safe but charged extra

There is private parking available however it is offsite and a daily charge applies.

Long distance from the nearest train station

The closest train station to the hostel is around a forty-minute walk away, which is quite the distance particularly with anyone carrying heavy bags There are however, cabs and buses available to take you to and from the station.

Some noise from the nightclub/bar

The bar is popular with travellers and locals alike and the nightclub often hosts parties where a DJ plays late into the night If you prefer to stay in and want quiet, you may need to request a room higher up or one that doesn't face the club.
