Positive Reviews

What a view!

Budapest Marriott delivers beautiful views across the Danube It is especially stunning at night If you can work it into your budget, then getting access to the executive lounge is worth it as, from its position on the ninth floor, you get an amazing vista of the Buda side of the river.

You'll be near to everything

The hotel is conveniently placed for all the major attractions You can walk pretty much anywhere Also, the hop on/hop off bus and the boat terminals are nearby There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Your room ticks the boxes

As well as having a great view, guestrooms are nicely clean and the beds really comfortable.

Very efficient staff

Hotel employees will do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay If you have any problems, they will help you out.

Negative Reviews

Not very 21st Century

The lack of free Wi-Fi in guestrooms is rather disappointing and surprising in this day and age Indeed, not only is it not free, but it is incredibly expensive If you want to check your emails then you'll need to head down to the lobby, which is quite annoying.

The building isn't pretty

While the vista from Budapest Marriott is delightful, the view of it isn't so nice The building's exterior is quite ugly.

Food and drink don't come cheap

Meals are quite expensive in the hotel, not least breakfast Also, buying alcoholic drinks can set you back quite a lot of money as well.

Be careful when catching a cab

Some of the taxis in the area take delight in over-charging tourists for their trips Be sure to insist that the concierge gets you a registered taxi.
