Good location.

Most guests were pleased with the location of this hotel. It is close to the beach and only a couple minutes from sports bars and the local bus terminal. It’s easy to grab some sun and follow that up with a night on the town.

Affordable pricing.

Guests note that while the accommodations are quite basic, this location is affordable to the point that it can be described as “cheap.” You should be able to stay well within your holiday budget when staying at Mavina.

Clean rooms.

Most guests suggest that they were pleased with the cleanliness of this location during their stay. The staff appears to do a fairly admirable job of cleaning up after previous guests and readying the room for your arrival. There is also regular trash removal to keep the room in shape through the duration of your stay.

Negative Reviews

No air conditioning.

You may be turned off to learn that there is no air conditioning within the guest rooms at this complex. If you’re here during the hot season in order to enjoy the beach (which is likely), you may find yourself warm during the night and experiencing some difficulty sleeping. Fortunately, there is a ceiling fan in each room to move the air around, which for some guests is adequate.

No Wi-Fi in rooms.

The guest rooms completely lack Wi-Fi. While many hotel locations do not offer stable Wi-Fi connections with good speeds, the complete absence of any Wi-Fi connection within the guest rooms at Mavina disappointed most guests. However, there is Wi-Fi Internet available in the reception area, and guests say that it is adequate and features good speeds.

Some rooms not quiet.

Depending on their location within the hotel, you may find that some of the guest rooms at this destination are a little noisy. According to guests, these disturbances do sometimes occur in the evening, and you may be awoken from your slumber as a result. You may wish to call and inquire with the reception desk before booking to attempt to ascertain which rooms are most likely to be insulated from this noise.
