Hotel Perichi's, located in historic Cabo Rojo – one of the new world's oldest settlements, is near some of Puerto Rico's best beaches.

The 49 en-suite bedrooms are all equipped with bathtubs and air-conditioning. Guests can sit out on their private balconies or tune into the cable TV. Super-deluxe rooms offer more space, whilst “La Hacienda” rooms can accommodate up to six guests and feature a mini-refrigerator.

Parking at Hotel Perichi's is complimentary and guests can relax in the tropical garden and outdoor pool. There is also events space for up to 175 people and a seminar room.

Continental breakfast is served in the cafe and pool bar at weekends, whilst the Steak n' Sea restaurant offers a variety of steaks, seafood and pasta dishes.

Golf and tennis can be enjoyed locally at the Club Deportivo, a three minute drive away. Boqueron Airport is under six miles from the hotel.

Good Hot Water

For those guests who rely on a great shower with excellent hot water to either start or finish their day, the hot water and pressure at this hotel will do the trick. Guests were very happy with the bathroom amenities in general and this featured across reviews.

Helpful Staff

A number of reviewers specifically singled out the front desk staff who were very friendly, polite and most importantly competent in discharging their duties, which it seems for guests means that they had an excellent stay due to the great service.

Negative Reviews

Awful Beds

The beds did not fare-well in reviews about this hotel. Common complaints included that the mattresses where hard and in many cases stained from overuse, the linens were thin and in need of a deep clean and the head boards were flimsy and failing apart.

Dodgy Air-Conditioning, Dirty Pool

Two common complaints from travelers who stayed at this hotel were about the state of the pool which for some was too dirty to swim in and for others that they could not find relief from the heat due to non-functioning air-conditioning units which struggle to cool anything down, but made loud noises in its attempts.

Needs Upgrading

Guests who are perhaps used to more luxurious accommodation left less than positive comments about the age and the overall state of the hotel which for them was not up to the standard that they would normally stay at. These guests suggested that the hotel could invest in a number of upgrades to make it more comfortable.
