Positive Reviews

Great rooms

Most travellers are pleasantly surprised that the rooms are spacious and well cleaned. They say that, for a hostel, the cleaning staff do an amazing job of keeping the property in good shape.

Awesome vibe

The happy-go-lucky staff are a laid-back bunch, which adds to the great atmosphere within the hostel. They are available 24/7, which is appreciated by all, especially those who need assistance with tour booking, or first-time visitors who need directions to the many wonderful attractions in the area.

Strategically placed

The city centre location and close proximity of many fantastic attractions such as the Egyptian Museum put this hostel high up on the list when it comes to location. Guests also add that the train station is no more than a ten-minute drive away, even when traffic is bad.

Negative Reviews

Elevator just a decoration

Since the hostel is on the third floor, guests find it awkward to get their heavy luggage all the way up the stairs without a working elevator. They comment that it looks like it's been out of action for quite some time now, leaving them with a bit of hard work before being able to settle down in their rooms.

Some refurbishments needed

Although the hostel is well looked-after on a daily basis, travellers think it may be time for a bit of a facelift. Facilities are looking a little drab, and since it's such a great place to stay, guests feel that a facelift will do wonders.

A tad noisy

The central location does come with a downside. Several guests complain about the noise levels, especially during the night.
