Positive Reviews

Fine food in an exquisite setting

The restaurant provides an impressive choice of dishes. Guests state that these are well prepared and presented. The Indian and international dishes are extremely good.

The private beach is a bonus

It is only a couple of minutes’ walk, direct access to the private beach area. This is a major plus feature for visiting guests.

A lovely pool

The pool is impressive and the pool bar complements it perfectly. The only regret is that the pool closes quite early in the evening.

Negative Reviews

Problems in paradise

Many patrons notice unimpressive cleaning procedures, irregular changing of bed linen and towels, and poor supplies of hot water. Insects are uninvited guests in the accommodation. This is a heavenly setting but the general guest feeling is that the hotel's services and standards combine to reduce its obvious appeal.

Suffering as the result of decay

The overall value for money leaves a lot to be desired. The complex is decades old and has not been inconvenienced by any obvious upgrading programmes during this period. It is very dated and in need of intensive and urgent TLC and maintenance.

Staff deficiencies

Attitudes of staff members are the cause for some guests' raised eyebrows. Members of staff react badly under pressure and the front desk people are particularly lacking in professionalism.
