Positive Reviews

Short walk from the beach

The big plus of this hotel is its proximity to Candolim Beach. Guests say it is about a kilometre down the road from the hotel and can be walked to relatively easily. The hotel is also conveniently situated to explore the North Goa region, with Aguada Fort close by.

Good value accommodation

Guests have to admit that for the reasonable rates they pay to stay at this hotel, the rooms do the job. They are said to be pretty clean and cosy with plenty enough space.

Decent food

The freshly prepared meals in the restaurant go down a treat with guests. They are found to be flavoursome and of an exceptional quality, with a good variety of options available.

Negative Reviews

Poorly maintained building

This hotel seems to have seen better days. Guests are disappointed to note that the building is beginning to look run down and worn out. Many of the facilities seem to have been neglected or not maintained adequately. The pool, for a start, does not always seem very clean, with broken tiles being reported. Then, there’s the gym full of out-of-date equipment, much of which no longer appears to function. Finally, there are frequent problems with the electricity, which regularly cuts out, and the availability of hot water, as well as the constant smell of sewage.

Management could be improved

Guests are not very impressed with the way the hotel is run. They do not always find it to be very professional and co-ordinated. Staff appear to be poorly trained and have difficulty knowing how to treat guests, as indeed do the management.

Parking is difficult

There are very limited parking spaces available at the hotel. Guests often say they cannot find anywhere to park, which can be highly problematic.
