There’s no question that this hotel is about quality while being a bit eccentric. It’s probably the décor that will strike you the most. The design is impressive and the place gets top stars for cleanliness. The beds are huge and comfortable, the bathroom makes you want to soak the entire day, and the lounge area is sleek and chic.

The Meals Are Amazing

You will get your full at this hotel and may even put on a few pounds! The cuisine has an international flair with South Africa dishes along with Norwegian salmon and more. Breakfast is a treat and dainties like banana passion fruit are thirst quenching.

The Location Is Top-Notch

The hotel locale is in Gardens, a very classy neighbourhood, and nearby Long Street. You can easily visit Cape Town and take in the vibrancy of the city. The highway is easily accessible and the V&A Waterfront is simple to walk to. The scenic views of Table Mountain are breathtaking.

Management Needs Managing

You may have to consistently ask for services and your request may still go unfulfilled. No shows for car rentals at the airport, shortage of staff, and lack of knowledge from staff members concerning basics is not uncommon. The spa staff lacks professionalism as well.

Amenities Could Be Better

The fitness room is ill equipped and the pool area is too small for the hotel size. Moreover, if you get a room facing the atrium you may as well be in a cave!

Not Five-Star Quality Towels

It’s amazing that such a chic hotel has such tacky towels! They are simply too thin. Moreover, be careful about giving the hotel your laundry for cleaning, it could get lost or returned damaged.
