Negative Reviews

Noisy evenings.

Those whose rooms were located above the bar area mentioned that they could hear music and noise often until quite late in the evening. If you are a light sleeper it's advisable to ask for a room away from the bar.

Decor too modern for some tastes.

Although most guests appreciated the hotel's modern decor some mentioned that the contemporary pieces of furniture and upholstery were not appropriate for a historic country house and expected to find more traditional pieces.

Internet connection issues.

Those who wanted to connect to the Internet from their rooms were disappointed to find that the free Wi-Fi is only available in the communal areas where the signal was also said to be quite weak and intermittent.
