Positive Reviews

Great location

Guests really enjoyed the hotel’s location. They mentioned that it was close to a number of great attractions that were fun for the whole family, like the Dinosaur Park and the Mammoth Caves the town is named for.

Terrific value for money

Quite a number of guests reported that they thought the room rate was exceptionally low. Taken together with the fact that most felt they received decent accommodation in a great location, they concluded that they had received excellent value for money.

Very hard beds

A bit too many guests for comfort reported that the mattresses the hotel uses are very firm. While some may prefer this, going by the volume of complaints it seems that they are too firm for most.

Negative Reviews

Pool broken or closed

Guests traveling in mid-2016 reported that the pool was broken and/or out of order. It certainly wasn’t open, and they seemed to be disappointed that it wasn’t available, even though advertised in the hotel’s marketing materials.

Construction noise

Guests traveling as late as July 2016 reported that there was quite a bit of construction going on at the hotel, seemingly part of a large renovation project. The noise, dust and similar construction related issues were said to cause some disruption to guests stay.

Very poor TV

A number of guests were not happy with their room TV at all. For a start, they found that the quality of the picture was very poor, making them feel like they were watching a TV from decades ago. Secondly, they said that the cable package the hotel subscribed to did not offer many good choices.
