Positive Reviews

The Staff Are Willing and Friendly

Guests consistently gave feedback to say that the staff were very eager to help and always did so with very welcoming attitudes. Some also mentioned that the famous Irish hospitality they had come to expect by hearing things about the country was on full display here.

A Beautiful Historic Building

Guests were very impressed by the condition of the property. They said every effort had been made to retain historical significance while also keeping the property updated so it would include modern conveniences. In many cases, the guests said the elegance of the building was evident as soon as they arrived, and the appearance helped them feel glad they had chosen to stay there.

Spacious and Well-Equipped Rooms

Guests generally thought their accommodations were large enough to help them feel comfortable and offered all or most of the amenities they expected the rooms to have. As a result, guests were usually satisfied with their stays overall.

Negative Reviews

Climate Control Issues

Depending on the season, guests were frequently either too hot or too cold while in their rooms. This issue persisted even when guests tried to use the climate controls in their rooms, which they often said seemed ineffective at resolving the problem.

Poor Soundproofing

Guests frequently complained that the soundproofing between the rooms is almost non-existent. Some also commented that they were able to hear outside noises too easily as well. With that in mind, you may want to plan on using earplugs for sleeping.

Lack of Bathroom Storage

Guests noted the bathrooms did not have adequate storage space for toiletries. Besides not having shelves for storage, guests said the bathrooms also lacked flat surfaces that they could have used to set toiletries on.
