Positive Reviews

Unbeatable value accommodation

This hotel may be far from being ultra-modern, but guests seem to like its rustic, familial charm. This is accommodation like it used to be, with old-style decor and large and clean rooms. The rates are said to be entirely reasonable too, with fair prices for breakfast, half-board and drinks. The meals might not be haute cuisine, but they are hearty down-to-earth and honest affairs, guests say.

Sincere welcome

Travellers probably do not expect exceptionally professional hospitality here, but after their stay note that the owners offer a warm and genuine service. They really know how to take care of their guests and are found to be extremely helpful.

Calm central location

It seems one of the best things about this hotel is its convenient location, just a short walk from the central Place Ducale and the railway station. There is a selection of restaurants not too far away too. However, guests also vouch that the hotel, along a quiet road, benefits from a relatively calm atmosphere.

Negative Reviews

Comfort could be improved

Guests are not too impressed by the firmness of the old beds, which they find quite uncomfortable due to reportedly poor quality mattresses. There are also several complaints of tobacco odours in the room and poor sound insulation.

Stairs are quite perilous

The hotel has no lift and guests are often not too happy having to climb quite steep stairs to access their rooms.
