Positive Reviews

A great pub with good accommodation.

Fondly called as the home watering hole, The Dean Ale & Cider House at West Dean is a favourite choice among gastro pubs and B&Bs in Chichester. Its location is also just perfect to indulge in an appealing holiday with the West Dean Gardens and Downland O

Negative Reviews

Small and poorly ventilated rooms.

Rooms are small and not well ventilated. They smell of dust. Rooms have loft windows with no views. They do not open fully which adds to the lack of ventilation and ends up making the rooms overheated.

Needs some improvisation.

Slight improvements like optional bed lights and proper positioning of television in the rooms are needed.

Noise high during events.

On events like beer festivals and parties, the activities go on till midnight causing heavy and disturbing noise to boarding guests.
