About Noel Arms

Noel Arms is a historic and traditional English inn situated in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, offering open log fires and award-winning food.

Each of the 28 bedrooms combines modern style with antique elegance. There are a number of bedroom options, from petite double to the 1675 four poster room. All rooms benefit from en-suite facilities, TV, radio and other basic amenities including tea and coffee-making facilities.

The hotel offers its guests access to the spa at the Cotswold House hotel, just across the road. There are a number of communal and function areas for guests to use and enjoy.

There is a coffee shop on-site, as well as restaurant and bar. The restaurant is award-winning, offering exceptional food throughout the day.

There are a number of walks in the area, including the famous Cotswold Way, which starts outside Noel Arms.

Friendly and accommodating staff.

The majority of guests seem to find staff friendly, accommodating and attentive. Guests mention Tabatha in particular as being especially friendly and helpful. Guests comment that staff in general are warm and welcoming and make the hotel feel special.

Charming rooms.

Guests largely seem to find the bedrooms characterful and charming. Rooms are reportedly traditionally styled and furnished, whilst maintaining a sense of modern convenience and comfort. Guests comment that beds are comfortable and that bathrooms are perfectly adequate.

Beautiful surroundings.

A number of guests comment that the hotels surroundings, and the town of Chipping Campden in general are lovely, providing a sense of retreat and escape. Guests comment that there are a number of sights in the Cotswolds which are within easy reach of the hotel.

Negative Reviews

Small breakfast portions.

There are a couple of reviews reporting small breakfast portions, described by guests as measly. Guests comment that supplements for the cooked breakfast are not accommodated, and that the service here is disappointing.

No lift service and narrow staircases.

A few guests mention the fact that there is no lift service available in the hotel, and that the staircases are very narrow, making it potentially difficult with suitcases. However, the hotel does have ground floor bedrooms for guests with limited mobility.
