    Review Highlights
    Positive Reviews
    • The staff is wonderful

Ballynahinch Castle Hotel boasts exemplary service from the moment they welcome you in. The staff is happy to help you with most any need that arises and they're knowledgeable about the area and all it has to offer in the way of restaurants and local sights. They can arrange activities in the area such as hiking, cycling, fishing and shooting and tell you the best places to shop.

    • The food is marvelous

With lots of choices available at breakfast and seasonal menu featuring locally sourced produce, game and fish, the food in both the restaurant and the pub is fresh and plentiful. The chef is happy to accommodate special dietary needs and everything that comes out of the kitchen is absolutely delicious.

    • The guest rooms are clean and well appointed

Spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed rooms are a pleasure to stay in. Comfortable beds with soft linens, fluffy towels and power showers are just a few of the amenities you'll find here.

    Negative Reviews
    • There's no lift

Ballynahinch Castle Hotel does not have a lift. This could prove to be problematic if you have low mobility, a lot of luggage or small children in tow.

    • Some rooms are smaller than others

Some of the guest rooms here are small which could be disappointing. If you are travelling with more than one person or you need extra room to manoeuvre, you might want to ask for a larger accommodation.

    • You may have to wait for service

The hotel's restaurant and pub can get really busy, especially on weekends and during peak travel season, which means you may have to wait for service and your food. But the good news is that once the food arrives, you'll find that it was worth the wait.
