About Living Water Resorts

Overlooking Lake Huron’s scenic Georgian Bay, Living Water Resorts offers a marina, full-service spa, and access to an 18-hole golf course. The resort is a ten-minute walk from Collingwood Harbour.

Guests can opt between
traditional hotel-style rooms and one- and two-bedroom suites. Rooms feature a
kitchenette, while suites include a full kitchen with stove, microwave,
dishwasher and washer-dryer. Some accommodations include a balcony and/or
fireplace.

Guests can squeeze in a
workout or join a class in the fitness studio, while the resort spa offers a
selection of hydrotherapy treatments. The resort also features an indoor pool
with waterslide, outdoor hot tub and games room. Boat trips and rentals are
available at the marina.

Spacious suites with comfy beds.

Guests opting for one of the resort's suites have been impressed with the size of their accommodations. Suites are said to be large and spacious. Add to this what is said to be a very comfy bed and you end up with very relaxing lodgings.

Restaurant offers good seafood.

Lakeside Seafood & Grill, the hotel's on-site restaurant, receives much praise. Past diners report that the fresh food served is tasty and plentiful. Those dining outside also enjoy its waterfront location.

Great views on offer.

The resort is said to offer great views of Lake Huron and the Blue Mountains. Many rooms feature balconies looking out over the lake, while past guests have been particularly fond of the rooftop deck, which is said to be a great place to take in sunset or sunrise.

Negative Reviews

Housekeeping could be improved upon.

Housekeeping has proven to be a bone of contention for many guests. It is common for guests to arrive to a dusty or dirty room in need of cleaning. Meanwhile, the resort does not offer daily housekeeping, a detail that proves unpopular with many.

Customer service not always up to task.

Although some guests enjoy positive interactions with resort employees, many others are less impressed with the standard of customer service on offer. It is often reported that employees are unenthusiastic and less knowledgeable than you might think. A number of reports also suggest that staff members can be combative when complaints are aired.

Waterslide opening hours lead to complaints.

An indoor-outdoor waterslide is the crown jewel of the hotel's indoor swimming pool facilities and proves a big draw. However, many guests are disappointed to learn that the slide is only open during limited hours, and does not necessarily open every day.
