Positive Reviews

Unbeatable location

When it comes to exploring Mesa Verde, there's no better place to stay than within the park itself. That, at least, is the feeling represented in guest reviews. They note the rooms all have incredible views of the mountains and offer a sense of true seclusion and escape.

No TVs

At this hotel, the lack of televisions is a huge plus for many visitors who want to enjoy the seclusion offered by the natural setting. There are few distractions at the lodge to get in the way of one's experience of nature.

Excellent food

Travellers say the restaurant at this hotel is superb. The dining options, while a bit more limited than they might be in a town or city, are found to be solid, and the price to quality ratio is better than many travellers expect given the location in a national park.

Negative Reviews

Thin walls

According to guests, the walls at these lodges are not suitably soundproofed. It is found to be easy to hear one's neighbours, even if they are not being particularly loud.

Bathrooms are quite small

Visitors often struggle to get into the shower at this hotel because the bathrooms are so small. According to their descriptions, many of the showers cannot be used unless the bathroom door is kept open, which can be inconvenient.
