Positive Reviews

Beautiful location and scenery

This is one of those postcard perfect places that you muse about staying at, and that are as lovely as you had thought when you do get there. The inn is conveniently located near plenty of shops and sites of interest, with views that set the tone for a peaceful getaway.

Fantastic breakfast and cosy atmosphere

The breakfast selections are fresh, delicious, and filling, and a nice way for guests to start their day. Many appreciate the varied options that are not the typical Irish breakfast expectations, especially for young kids who may be picky eaters. The dining area, as well as the rest of the common areas, create a cosy, welcoming ambience for all guests to enjoy.

Delightful staff and host

The host and staff are great to be around, always attentive and with smiles and easy-going demeanours. They quickly respond to requests, share info and tips about the area, and further delight guests with little treats upon check-in or in the lounge.

Negative Reviews

Tough stairs to climb

Be aware that there's no lift, so you will have to take the stairs if staying on an upper-floor room. The steps are steep and tough for many to navigate, so you may want to take that into consideration when requesting a room, or when preparing your luggage.

Beds are not comfortable for everyone

Not everyone has a peaceful sleep, since the mattresses are not to everyone's liking. Some consider the beds to be too firm, while others think they're too lumpy. You may want to bring or use extra pillows or blankets to feel more comfortable.

No other negative opinion about this inn

So far, no other negative opinion has been expressed by the guests of this inn.
