Central location

The Best Western Galaxy Inn gets its name from the C5 Galaxy cargo transport aircrafts as it is right across Dover Air Force Base. Guests staying at the hotel find themselves close to scores of attractions besides being able to indulge in some heavy tax free shopping in the Dover Mall. The Dewey Beach is just a 20 minute drive and the Dover Down's Casino is about four miles. Guests can visit the Killens Pond State Park with just a 15 minute drive away.

Comfortable rooms with facilities

All 63 rooms are done up in soft hues and wooden furniture. Every room features satellite television and tea or coffeemaker, and adds conveniences like microwave and refrigerator. All rooms are air conditioned. Some rooms add a Jacuzzi.

Smoke smell and extra charges

Even in the non smoking rooms, smoke smell is strongly prevalent, which guests find intolerable. Some credit cards are charged additional sums without stating the reason inconveniencing the guests greatly.

Room issues

Ants are present in the rooms and run all over the microwave, any food kept and even into the clothes. Room service staff does not provide efficient service as towels are not changed and beds are not made every day. Bathrooms are not maintained well and shelves are dirty.
