Positive Reviews

Lovely Location

Dover's Restover boasts a prime and convenient location. Guests loved being within walking distance from the Dover city centre and found it easy to get to the trains, port, and the Channel tunnel. In addition, there are restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment, less than half a mile away. The seafront is also a short stroll from the hotel.

Morning Delight

Don't miss out on the daily full English breakfast. Guests enjoyed the morning treat, saying it is delicious and filling.

Clean and Comfortable

Overall, guests were pleased with their accommodations. The rooms are described as spacious, clean, and functional. Upon check-in, guests were delighted to receive a complimentary hospitality tray in their rooms. In addition, guests also mentioned that the staff is warm and welcoming, helpful, and accommodating.

Negative Reviews

No Lift

Some guests were concerned about the steps from the street to the hotel entrance and reception, with no lift or ramp option. In addition, there is no lift to get to the rooms either and guests found the stairwell quite narrow and inconvenient. If you have a lot of luggage or trouble with stairs, you may want to keep this in mind.

Though most guests didn't have a complaint, some found that in some of the rooms, noise from the local pub, street traffic, and the train station can be annoying. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring a pair of earplugs as a precaution, and ask for a quieter room.

Hot Nights

A few guests thought the rooms were uncomfortably hot. Although the windows opened, the street noise prevented guests from keeping them open throughout the night.
