Positive Reviews

Lovely for a First Edinburgh Visit

Whenever you’re looking to travel someplace unfamiliar for the first time, you’re likely to prowl the internet for reviews When it comes to Edinburgh, this hotel is going to be near the top of your list A tremendous value, this is a great place to get situated to allow for you and yours to easily acquaint yourselves with the world’s leading festival city.

Exceptional Service and Surroundings

In addition to the great Edinburgh surroundings, which are an abundant perk of where the hotel is positioned, the staff here is tireless The breakfasts here are varied and hearty, the reception is accommodating even if you check in very late and the service makes sure that everything is tidy and immaculate, offering quality that far outstrips its three-star rating.

Within Reach of the City Centre

Not only is the hotel itself within walking distance of many Edinburgh points of interest, but it also is just 100 metres from the bus stop with only about a ten minute ride into the heart of town Make a plan to tour as much of the city as you can during your stay, because it will be very convenient to reach those desired attractions from here.

Negative Reviews

Converted Townhouse = Tiny Rooms

Being in an old townhouse, even a Victorian one, means that several of the rooms aren’t incredibly large and moreover, a little oddly shaped as well.

Only Off-Street Parking

The hotel has no parking lot for you and unfortunately, the street it’s on does not let you park, so you’ll be going around the block to dock your car.

Little Food Beyond Breakfast

The restaurant and bar no longer serves a la carte dinners, and there’s only a small window in the late afternoon to enjoy their drinks and snacks.
