Positive Reviews

Terrific central location

There's no doubt that it was the location of the accommodation that most impressed guests during their stay. They loved that it was so central, and reported that they felt comfortable walking to Prince Street and other points of interest within the tourist heart of Edinburgh.

Remarkably quiet

Right after saying how great it was they could walk to all the attractions many went on to add that the house was nevertheless a little outside the very centre, making it peaceful and quiet. There were no complaints about external noise bothering guests.

Very spacious rooms

Too many guests to mention remarked that their room was actually quite big, and certainly larger than they were expecting. Guests definitely did not feel like they were being crammed into a place too small for their party.

Negative Reviews

Bathroom as not en-suite

This was perhaps what guests disliked most about the accommodation. They reported that, though they did have a private bathroom, it was not en-suite and they had to walk through the kitchen area in order to access it. They found this to be quite a bother, especially early in the morning when they were still in their PJ's.

No free daytime parking

Guests mentioned that there were some quite severe parking restrictions in the surroundings, effectively meaning that they could not park their car on the street during the daytime. Since the property does not have its own parking, this meant that a paid parking garage had to be found nearby.

Beds are on rollers

Several guests mentioned that the beds were on rollers and seemed to have a mind of their own, moving when they really should be staying put.
