Positive Reviews

Suites with sweet treats and a dram

Each of the rooms at this bed and breakfast was noted as being stocked with a nice selection of teas and coffee, some local information and sometimes whisky and chocolates, even before guests got into describing the interesting themes that each had. On a more practical note, these were also reported as being clean, comfortable and equipped with pleasant en-suite bathrooms.

Outstanding hostess with formidable breakfasts

The hostess in charge of this B&B, Eileen, was apparently second-to-none, with guest reviews describing her as being very accommodating, as friendly as could be and also more than forthcoming with a wealth of local tips. Furthermore, her breakfasts were said to be formidable, comprising of fresh continental options to start with, followed by a full Scottish cooked breakfast and then completed with muffins and other snacks to take away.

Great spot for exploration in Edinburgh's West End

Guests thought very highly of the town house's location, which was reported as being found in an attractive area of Edinburgh's West End and also within walking distance of highlights like Edinburgh Castle, the city centre and Princes Street. In addition to this, there are apparently plenty of restaurants to be found nearby, as well as good public transit options at nearby Haymarket.
