Situated directly on the beach, Hotel Amada Colossos Resort Resort is a modern mid-rise offering basic accommodation and extensive activities in a family friendly environment. There are rooms to accommodate from two to four. Each features en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, in-rooms safe, hairdryer, telephone and private balcony. There are extensive leisure facilities suitable for the whole family at Hotel Amada Colossos Resort including a massive pool terrace, tennis, mini-golf, table tennis and a wellness area with gym, sauna and jacuzzi. There are several restaurants, café’s and bars on-site, serving a very wide variety of cuisines, from the Greek and international cuisine of the main buffet restaurant, to the Asian Kiosk serving spicy Chinese dishes. The main attractions are clearly all the activities available on the resort, and the beach right out front, but amateur archaeologist will not want to miss a visit to Rhodes Town, just 6.5 miles to the north.

Of course it was the location right on Colossos Beach that most impressed guests. Most had clearly come to the resort for a beach break, and were only too happy to have the object of their travels right out front.
Several guests mentioned that there is a bus stop right outside the complex, and it was a simple affair to take one in to either Rhodes, if going north, or Lindos if going south. They felt that even guests without a car would be able to get to interesting places on the island with a minimum of fuss.
Perhaps what most stood out in the reviews was that many guests spoke about being on at least their second visit to the resort. Many seem to know the key staff by name, and return year after year. As in any resort, this is the best positive review possible.
A very large number of guests complained that Wi-Fi was an extra charge. They felt that, given the central role connectivity plays in people's lives now, it should have been included in the room-rate. But even worse than that was that, even after paying, they found it to be slow and unreliable.
While guests seemed very happy about the location, and public facilities available, many were less complimentary when it came to the rooms. They found them very dated, and felt they didn't do the rest of the resort justice.ac
While not mentioned very often, a few guests said that there was often a shortage of sun loungers available, despite the terrace being large enough to accommodate many more.
