About The Old Gate Inn by Innkeeper's Collection

A historic hotel that is over three centuries old, Chaucer Lodge has modern rooms and bathrooms, and offers guests an old-world charm. All rooms come with an en-suite with free toiletries, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a tea and coffee maker. Children under 15 are free providing they share a room with an adult. Chaucer Lodge has nine recently renovated rooms and offers guests a centrally situated base to explore the Canterbury area from. Free parking is available. A continental or full English breakfast is available in the pub, which also serves hearty, fresh British cuisine and has ales on tap. The quaint, rustic feel of the pub is made complete with an open fireplace. Guests are able to shop at the nearby King's Mile Shopping Centre or take a boat trip along the River Stour. The Canterbury Heritage and Royal Museum are 2.6 miles away.
