    About The Shan's Lodge

    Located in cherry gardens on the banks of Lake Hayes, The Shan's Luxury Lodge offers one-bedroom suites with free Wi-Fi and majestic views over Central Otago’s breathtaking landscape. All four suites feature LCD TV, air conditioning and serene mountain, lake or garden views. Bathrooms offer under-floor heating and free bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. Some units are fitted with a spa bath. Leisure facilities include a patio with outdoor spa pool and stunning views, a telescope for stargazing, a library, free mountain bikes, and a private cinema. Complimentary secure parking and airport shuttle are also available. A complimentary European or Asian breakfast is prepared by the lodge’s resident chef and includes seasonal fruits and freshly baked items. Hot drinks are served all day in the lounge. Amisfield Winery is ten minutes’ walk from The Shan's Luxury Lodge. Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge and historic gold-mining town Arrowtown are around 10 minutes’ drive. Glenorchy, a filming site for Lord of the Rings, is a one hour drive.
