Guests said the rooms look recently renovated and the beds were heavenly comfortable. The staff at Blackwell put the cherry on top, with their amazing hospitality and the warm and welcoming personnel. If you're looking to book a special event, they are more than happy to guide you through the process and make it a day to remember.
Most guests loved the neighborhood around Blackwell. Situated in a beautiful area, the hotel is close to many great restaurants and bars, close to various outdoor activities and within walking distance to most city attractions, including Lake Coeur d'Alene and Tubbs Hill.
Don't miss out on breakfast. Guests were delighted to enjoy the delicious offerings, with many varied options and satisfying meals. In addition, guests loved the complimentary evening wine and snacks, which was perfect after a long day out.
Keep in mind that there is no elevator onsite. If you may have trouble with stairs or heavy luggage, you may want to request a lower floor room.
Though most rooms have ensuite bathrooms, a few have private ones that are just across the hall near their rooms. Some bathrooms also have a bathtub but no shower.
Some of the rooms face the main street and can be noisy if there is lots of traffic, but most guests said it was rarely a problem. Still, if you're a sensitive sleeper, you may want to carry earplugs with you.
