Breakers Resort (Myrtle Beach, USA)

The hotel is situated right along the sandy beach, so all you have to do is leave your building and you'll have reached your destination.

Guests enjoyed the many amenities such as the different pools, the indoor hot tub and pool, the lazy river and the pirate-themed children's pool. They also appreciated having free breakfast and a shuttle bus to and from the airport and along the beach available to them.

Guests recommended getting a room with a view of the beautiful ocean, and they stated that having a fridge, a microwave and a washer and dryer available was also quite helpful, and some of the rooms even include full kitchens.

Guests reported that not all buildings are alike, since the Palmetto and Paradise buildings appeared to be in better shape than the rest. They observed torn and broken furniture, plumbing concerns which showed in slowly draining tubs, and uncomfortable beds.

Since the hotel consists of eight buildings with the latest addition of the Dunes, you might have to embark on a 10-minute walk to get back to the Pirates Cove building, where the front desk and the children's pool are located. Or you might need to walk over to the Palmetto building next to it, where the ice cream stand, the lazy river and the heated indoor pool and hot tubs are.

Several guests noted how the walls seem to be extremely thin and that the entire rooms are not soundproofed, as they could hear conversations, doors closing and traffic noises.
