Set right on the shoreline, this property was a huge hit with those keen for direct access to sun and sand. In addition to its beach side location, these cottages were handy for a number of nearby attractions, including the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium.
It's not hard to see why this property continues to attract families in their droves. There was a lot to do and see in the immediate vicinity of these cottages, but the simple pleasures of the on-site pool was enough to create wholesome, happy memories of many a family stay.
Guests found the overall standard of accommodation here to be solid. The spacious layouts were handy for families and larger groups and a consistently high number of guests say that they would not hesitate to return to these seaside cottages.
Sadly, reports of rudeness - directed toward guests from both the reception team as well as the individual owners of these cottages - was a common theme here. Understandably, this had a negative impact on the overall experience at this property.
When booking this accommodation, many based their decision upon the description of these cottages as given on this property's web site. Unfortunately, guests arrived to find that their units weren't quite as presented online, especially in terms of layout.
Many guests commented that the in-unit configurations here were downright odd, some so much so that guests really struggled for privacy. Given that these cottages are popular with families, this lead to cramped, uncomfortable conditions.
